
Audubon Zoo
Ranking among the best Zoos in the United States of America, Audubon Zoo allows the visitors to enjoy encounters with animals in their natural habitats. The Zoo is situated in New Orleans, Louisiana and is an integral constituent of the Audubon Natural Institute. Located on a sprawling 58 acres of land, Audubon Zoo is home to over 2,000 animals.
The Zoo is named after the Naturalist John James Audubon. The verdant gardens, resting spots, exotic variety of animals, the Louisiana swamp, animal presentation and hands-on animal encounters make a visit to the Audubon Zoo an unforgettable experience.

Reptile house, birds, petting Zoo, Elephant fountain, sea lion pool, Jaguar Jungle, Monkey Hill waterfall and Louisiana Swamp await you in the zoo. The Louisiana swamp is replete with alligators, otters, raccoon, copperheads, nutria, etc. The Jaguar Jungle resembles Mayan architecture with enough fun reserved for kids who love climbing.
The Rocking chairs in the Swamp allows the visitors to rest for a while, before proceeding to another interesting part of the Zoo. White alligators, white tigers, orangutans, gorillas, beaded lizard, gila monster, green anaconda, caiman, Komodo Dragon, reticulated python, lemurs and tamarins find homes among the oak trees and lush green atmosphere of the Zoo.

You can enjoy the Hi-tech Safari Simulator Ride in which a large screen projects the images and your seat moves according to the experience.
