Currently owned by Fernandez Family, the Cafe du Monde is a coffee shop located in the French Quarter at New Orleans. If you wish to travel to New Orleans, you must spare time to visit this shop and experience the finest taste of coffee and chicory. Established in 1862, the coffee shop is capable of giving tough competition to any other cafe in the area.

Cafe du Monde has been one of the two famous coffee shops in the area, other being the Morning Call. After the success of this main shop at French Quarter, a number of Cafe du Monde shops were opened in shopping malls. French Market, Riverwalk Marketplace, Lakeside Mall, Esplanade Mall and many other locations in Louisiana accommodates similar coffee shops.
