Audobon Aquarium Of The Americas is a high class aquarium located on the banks of the Mississippi river. It came in to being in 1990 and offers visitors of all ages to experience underwater life. Currently, the authorities have added many more species of aquatic lives to the aquarium. The most noteworthy are the jellyfish, sea turtles and sharks.

The Aquarium of the Americas is one of the country's leading aquariums and is part of the Audobon Nature Institute. It is located on the French Quarter's edge on Coastal Street.
