The Louisiana Superdome or the New Orleans Superdome is one of the venues in United States of America that hosts major sporting events like Super Bowl and Final Tour. Baseball, football and basket events are also conducted here in this multi specialty stadium in New Orleans. These sporting events are attended by thousands of people from various cities and countries. This venue will be hosting The Super bowl XL VII in February 2013.

The Louisiana Superdome is also a venue to host cultural events, special events, Conventional Meeting, Tradeshows etc. This superdome is an international attraction and this is the largest fixed dome structure in the world. The dome is made with Lamella multi-ringed frame with a diameter of 680 feet. It has a seating capacity of 65,000. This dome was badly damaged in the 2005 Katrina, which gave shelter to thousands of people. It took around $185 to bring it back to the action once again. It was again re-opened in September 2006.
