Popularly known as Place d'Armes, the Jackson Square is one of the famous attractions of French Quarter in New Orleans. The place is surrounded by other attractions like River Mississippi, St. Louis Cathedral and the Presbytere. This open area was once used as the military parade ground and later on as a fish market.
