Admission Criteria at Southern University
Until the fall of 2010, Southern University is an open admission institution. After that it will become a Selective III Louisiana institution when potential students will have to complete the core curriculum of the Louisiana Board of Regents high school. Additionally, candidates will also need a high school grade point of atleast an average2.0, or the SAT equivalent of 950 or an ACT composite score of minimum 20.
