University of New Orleans

The University of New Orleans is one of the premier educational institutions in the US. Also referred to as UNO, this university is situated in New Orleans, Louisiana. The university is headed by renowned academician Timothy P Ryan who is its Chancellor.

UNO comprises six colleges that impart quality education to the students. These colleges are College of Education and Human Development, College of Business Administration, College of Science, College of Engineering, Metropolitan College and College of Liberal Arts.

Each year, thousands of students from various parts of the country flock to UNO seeking admission in various programmes. The research programmes run by the university are especially famous among students. The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) which is located within the premises of the university plays a key role in acquiring funds required for research activities.
